

My Personal Story

I truly found my happiness by focusing on a non-grain diet.

Back in 2009, I was diagnosed with chronic inflammatory disease. Every part of my body felt painfully inflamed, and I couldn’t understand why. The only answer doctors ever gave me was medication—steroids, biologics, and other drugs. But the potential side effects were overwhelming, and accepting them didn’t sit right with me.
​
So, I started searching for answers on my own. I was determined—more than anything, I just wanted to feel normal again. That’s when a colleague at work introduced me to the paleo diet… and it completely changed my life. I loved it. My body loved it. I was still on medication at first, but I could feel a dramatic difference.

After two years on the diet, I was able to stop taking all of my prescription medications.
​
Now, I’m not here to glorify the paleo diet—it may not be right for everyone. I made mistakes along the way and learned a lot through trial and error. I also kept up with blood tests every six months to make sure I wasn’t deficient in any key vitamins or minerals.
Everything came back normal. No more inflammation. And to this day… it’s still gone.
Yaay—I did it!!

That journey inspired Seed Happiness. I created this space to share what I’ve learned and to help others. I hope my story encourages you to believe in the healing power of food, and to never lose hope—especially if you’re battling a chronic illness.
